I Started a Nonprofit Because the Marginal Cost Collapsed
There is a practical reason the nonprofit I started exists that I don't think I have explained very well. It isn't only that I wanted to help organizations that couldn't afford a good website.
BE THE GOOD.
There is something I want to do differently with my family than what was done for me growing up. I don't want to spend eighteen years telling my kids what kind of people they should become while they watch me sit on the couch and complain about everything that's wrong with life.
Why I Started a Nonprofit
the nonprofit I started didn't start because I woke up one day and thought it would be fun to build free websites. It came from something that had bothered me for years.
I Don't Want to Put My Name on Your Mission
There is something I've deliberately never done with the nonprofit I started that probably makes absolutely no sense from a traditional business perspective. I've built website after website and never stuck a BUILT BY US badge at the bottom linking back to me.
